Never before released, this is the second Peel session from Sheffield-based One Thousand Violins, one of the great lost artists of the 1980s. Treading a lovelorn path somewhere between the 60s and The Smiths, this classic set features four stonking Violins originals led by fan favourite ‘I Was Depending On You To Be My Jesus’ and ‘If I Were A Bullet’, destined to become an indie hit when later re-recorded as a single. Ten-inch vinyl release includes a set of postcards with previously unseen pics, sleeve notes by Violins crooner John Wood and free download codes. Limited to 350 copies.
