by The Dentists

/
  • Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

Precious moves into the Medway Sound for the first time with a fantastic Janice Long session from The Dentists. Released here for the first time ever, this is the band's one and only Radio 1 session, recorded in spring 1987 and featuring their legendary cover of ‘Both Sides Now’.

Two of the remaining three tracks ended up on the Writhing On The Shagpile EP released later the same year but the other song, ‘Heaven’, remained unreleased until it was re-recorded for 1993's Powdered Lobster Fiasco. Sleeve notes by Bob Collins, plus a set of vintage pics on the postcards. Limited to 350 copies.

Songsheet: Both Sides Now, (We Thought We'd Got To) Heaven, Just Like Oliver Reed, A Strange Way To Go About Things.
