it's an absolute treat to have both of The Orchids Peel.sessions available digitally and on vinyl. I'd forgotten just how good they sounded. Four fantastic songs - a rip-roaring version of the much loved Caveman and the beautiful Dirty Clothing from the greatest album of the 90s, Unholy Soul. Truly wonderful.

Surely one of the best, if not THE best, of the so-called "indie pop" bands of the 80's. Sublime melodies, catchy hooks and fantastic lyrics combine to make some of the greatest pop music of any decade. Pete Astor is one of my favourite songwriters and continues to make incredibly great music still.
